I started its predecessor, <em>Squid Row<\/em> way back in 2002 after seeing a <em>Calvin &amp; Hobbes<\/em> retrospective at Ohio State University. That exhibition made me want to be a cartoon stripper.<\/p>\n<p>I procured an art degree from UC Santa Cruz many moons ago&#8230; but I have been drawing comics per se since high school.<\/p>\n<p>I moved from Central California to Portland, Oregon in 2017. It is quite a change from the golden hills of my home state to the overt green of the plentitude of trees all over the place.
