Hello Squiddies!

It was requested, not long ago, that there be a Voodoo Kitty coffee mug. After Harold finished crunching some numbers and doing a little research, we decided to go with Redbubble.

Redbubble is a print on demand shop where you can buy a design on any number of high quality products. Right now you can buy a Voodoo Kitty coffee mug, t-shirt, iPhone case, laptop cover, greeting cards, and more. While there is only one design there presently, I will be uploading more soon. Any requests?

… that I’m missing some of my old friends.

This comic is/was #160 in the ol’ black and white days. I guess it’s “Squid Noir” ??? Anyhow… I drew the comic on bristol board back in the day. I scanned it, cleaned it up and then added the text (Comic Sans… *shudder*) and the gray tones. The characters evolved quite a bit … wouldn’t you say? And thank goodness I bought a REAL font!

Happy Friday, Earth Day, Passover, Full Moon, and National Jelly Bean Day.

Quite frankly, I think we could cram in a few more things, don’t ya think?

It is also the birthday of artist Richard Diebenkorn.

And did you know that jelly beans date back to The Civil War?

Target Infestation

gnome-pink-targetOver the weekend, I was visiting my sister and her family in Sandy Eggo. We were running errands and stopped by a Target near their house. This is what I found… Pink gnomes… disguised as cutesy and ready to buy in their “priced right” section as you first walk in. Clearly, the place has a gnome problem and they are trying to get rid of them.

By the way, does this remind you of today’s cartoon, or what?!!!
